NMUN ALUMNI RECEPTION CANCELLED: Unfortunately, due to the growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19 in New York, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this event. Because of the timeline of the visit, we will sadly not have the opportunity to reschedule. We encourage any alumni interested in connecting with the students to be in touch with the liaison office for other opportunities to support the Freiburg NMUN delegation. Come support our students from Freiburg! The Uni-Freiburg NMUN (National Model United Nations) Delegation will be visiting New York City again this year for their conference at the UN Headquarters. Friends of Freiburg is organizing a networking reception at the Oyster House at Pier A so our alumni can meet with them. Come share with the students your perspective on life after Uni-Freiburg… and hear updates from their side on what has — and hasn’t — changed.
It’s free to attend the reception, but please RSVP ahead of time, as we can only accommodate a limited number of guests. When you arrive at the Oyster House, there will be signage to direct to you to the University of Freiburg group (ask the host or hostess if you need assistance).
