The feedback from the first Friends of Freiburg Online Stammtisch has been tremendous and we are planning to build on this in the weeks and months ahead.One suggestion that came from many people was to have an Online Stammtisch in German. Ja, warum nicht? We are going to plan a Meet and Greet Stammtisch. . . auf Deutsch. For those of you native speakers wishing to reconnect to the mother tongue . . . join us! For those of you Americans or others who studied in Freiburg and want to re-establish your connection to the language of Goethe and Heine . . . join us! The evening will be hosted by Sarah Stephens and friends. There are only two requirements for participation: (1) please register ahead of time and (2) have a glass (or bottle) of German Wein or Bier by your side!!!
We will break-out sessions based on language ability, so please include your level of German when registering.
