Join Friends of Freiburg New York at the opera this fall! In Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, this elegant Baroque work based on the ancient Orpheus myth is magnificently staged and choreographed by the legendary choreographer Mark Morris for the Met. It stars mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton as Orfeo and soprano Hei-Kyung Hong as the Euridice. Mark Wigglesworth conducts.

Each performance is preceded by Alumna and Board Member Sarah Stephens’ introduction in her lovely UWS Ansonia apartment with hors d’oeuvres and prosecco. Whether you are new to opera or a long-time opera fan, you are sure to enjoy and appreciate the performance more after Sarah’s introduction. We are able to offer 20% reduced rate tickets. There’s $10 per person charge to cover hors d’oeuvres and prosecco.

Space is limited so please sign up early by RSVP-ing directly to alumni.fr.northamerica@gmail.com with the number and type of tickets you would like to reserve. We are pleased to offer:

10 tickets in Dress Circle Premium $154.50
10 tickets in Balcony Prime $98.50
**Additional $10 charge to cover prosecco and hors d’oeuvres if attending opera talk**

Payments may be made by check to “Friends of Freiburg University” and brought with on the day of the performance.
